Kitchen Staff - Mai Coffee House (Gardena, CA) Join our team at Mai Coffee House, a vibrant and growing café known for quality drinks, warm service, and a strong team culture. We're currently hiring full-time Kitchen Staff to support our back-of-house operations and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Pay:

$18/hour

Schedule:

Full-time (3-5 days/week), must be flexible and available weekends & holidays

Experience :

Barista:

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook boba, mochi, and other kitchen items to spec Mix foam and coffee & tea drinks with consistency and quality Prepare fruit purees and cut fresh fruit for drinks and toppings Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area Lift and move heavy products (up to 50 lbs) Follow food safety and hygiene protocols Support team members during peak hours and closing shifts Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience in a coffee or boba shop kitchen Skilled in mixing foam, brewing coffee, tea and cooking boba/mochi Able to work on your feet and lift heavy items safely Reliable, punctual, and committed to full-time availability Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Able to follow instructions and maintain consistency under pressure
