The ideal candidate will assist guests, take food and beverage orders, support food preparation and service, maintain a clean and organized restaurant, and work closely with team members to provide an excellent dining experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in friendly service and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare and serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards. Assist with basic food preparation, plating, and order packaging as needed. Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments accurately. Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options. Maintain clean and organized dining, counter, kitchen, and service areas. Restock food, beverages, packaging, condiments, utensils, and other supplies. Ensure orders are prepared accurately and served promptly. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and other restaurant support duties as needed. Handle guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner. Support coworkers during busy service periods. Assist with opening, closing, and other daily restaurant duties. Perform additional responsibilities assigned by restaurant management. Requirements Previous restaurant, food service, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail. Basic POS and cash-handling experience is a plus. Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic. Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Skills Restaurant or food-service experience. Strong guest-service and interpersonal skills. Food preparation or beverage-service experience. Ability to multitask during busy service periods. Good organization and time-management skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Interest in Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus.
