Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all food prep areas, dining spaces, and kitchen stations in accordance with food safety regulations Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and restocking supplies as needed to support smooth restaurant operations Qualifications Prior experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafés, or grocery stores is preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions and sales reporting Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and safety standards within the food industry Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Previous restaurant or retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including day and night shifts This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the food industry while providing top-notch service in a lively environment.
