The Kitchen Helper will support our kitchen staff with daily food preparation, follow recipes and instructions accurately, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in cleanliness and food quality. This position will assist with preparing ingredients and food items, keeping workstations organized, cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen at the end of each shift, and following all food-safety and workplace-safety procedures. This is an important role in helping our kitchen run smoothly and ensuring that our food is prepared consistently and safely. Duties Assist with preparing food and ingredients according to established recipes and instructions. Follow recipes carefully and accurately to maintain consistent quality and portion sizes. Wash, cut, measure, and organize ingredients as needed. Assist the kitchen team with preparing sandwiches, salads, pastries, fillings, and other food items. Keep work areas, equipment, and food-preparation stations clean and organized throughout the shift. Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, equipment, and floors at the end of the shift. Properly store ingredients and follow food-storage procedures. Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines. Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous kitchen or food-preparation experience is preferred but not required. Ability to follow recipes and written or verbal instructions carefully. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Good attention to detail and cleanliness. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks. Commitment to following food-safety and sanitation standards.

$23.97 - $28.87 per hour
