Bakery Prep Assistant & Order Processor

Sugar Plum Plant Based Bakery is hiring a dependable and hardworking Bakery Production Assistant for our smaller satellite production kitchen. This role supports our Head Baker with daily baking, donut and loaf decorating and preparing standing wholesale orders for our coffee shop partners. We are looking for someone who enjoys working well with a small team during hands on production work, works efficiently and takes pride in consistency and presentation. Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Baker with daily bakery production
• Decorate donuts and finish desserts
• Prepare and pack standing wholesale orders for coffee shop partners
• Follow recipes and production procedures accurately
• Measure ingredients carefully and maintain consistency
• Assist with baking donuts, muffins and loaves
• Help organize, stock and maintain the kitchen workspace
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards Qualifications
• Professional kitchen or bakery experience preferred
• Reliable and punctual
• Self-organized and can work independently with ease and proficiency
• Comfortable with repetitive production tasks
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
