Job Description
Kitchen & Hospitality Assistant - Fizz Champagne & Bubbles Bar (Walnut Creek) Friday, Saturday 12pm-10pm Sunday 12-7pm Fizz Champagne & Bubbles Bar is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Kitchen & Hospitality Assistant to support our Walnut Creek location. We are looking for someone who feels equally at home in the kitchen and front of house to help create exceptional guest experiences while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. What You'll Do Prepare and plate simple menu items according to Fizz standards Portion and prepare duck fat fries and other small plates Operate kitchen equipment, including automated fryers Assemble charcuterie and cheese boards Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization throughout service Wash dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment Assist with food prep and restocking Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Support the front-of-house team Assist with bussing tables, polishing glassware, restocking supplies, and helping maintain the overall appearance of the bar Help ensure every guest receives a great Fizz experience What We're Looking For A Multi-Tasker Positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable and punctual Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and presentation standards Comfortable working independently after training Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Food service, restaurant, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required Team player who is willing to help Takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $20 per hour + Tips Employee discounts Opportunities for advancement within a growing hospitality company Training provided—no culinary degree or chef experience required 6 Month Performance Bonus Schedule Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Friday, Saturday 12pm-10pm Sunday 12pm-7pm About Fizz Fizz Champagne & Bubbles Bar is Northern California's premier champagne and sparkling wine destination, offering guests an elevated yet approachable experience centered around exceptional hospitality, curated wines, and memorable experiences.
