Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients to support kitchen operations Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are upheld Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies Ensure proper food storage and inventory management to minimize waste and maintain freshness Serve food efficiently and courteously in a fast-paced environment, supporting overall food service operations Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Bilingual in English or Spanish, or understand Spanish Kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, especially within the food industry or catering environments Familiarity with food handling, safety standards, and basic cooking techniques is essential Skills in menu planning, meal preparation, knife handling, and food presentation are advantageous Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices Experience with serving customers or supporting catering events will be considered a plus Demonstrated ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Join us at Heaven Creamery where your culinary talents will shine!
