Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from taking to fulfillment, providing friendly assistance and upselling where appropriate. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to uphold sanitation standards. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and give accurate change. Assist with food handling duties including serving, bussing tables, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed. Support the team by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in food preparation, food handling, or culinary roles demonstrates readiness for this position. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Background in retail sales transactions or grocery store experience is a plus. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math requirements.
