Full Job Description Beau Jo's Pizza Job Description Hourly Non-Exempt Position Position Title :
Back of house (BOH)
PURPOSE :
Prepare food accurately to order and dietary specifications and according to Beau Jo's standards, quality and speed levels. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
Essential DUTIES:
Prepare food items according to our standards of quality, recipe consistency, and timelines. Ensure compliance with all health code requirements and company standards. Maintain adequate stocking, cleanliness, and organization of work area throughout the day. Complete prep tasks as needed according to recipe, procedure, quality and speed standards. Operate equipment safely as determined by company safety standards and OSHA regulations. Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring that the food that leaves the kitchen exceeds expectations and is made accurately.
OTHER DUTIES
Respond to additional guest requests by preparing orders to their specifications. Maintain food storage, receiving, stocking & rotating per company and safety standards. Work closely and communicate with FOH staff in a high pace environment, while doing a variety of "time restraint" tasks.
Essential Physical Requirements:
100% Stand or walk. 75% Work at Approx. 36" table/stove and reach in approx. 36". 75% Perform duties at a continuous high pace, while maintaining quality and speed standards. 50% View and read orders from a printed ticket. 50% Lift and carry sacks, boxes, products up to 50 lbs. from floor to above waist level, approx. 20 feet and sometimes involving stairs. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Successful completion of hourly position validations, including reading training materials.
Qualifications :
Beau Jo's will hire aged 16+ and will remain in compliance with Colorado Youth Law under the CO Youth Employment Opportunity Act (C.R.S. 8-12-101 et seq. ) Minors may not work more than 40 hours per week or 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Previous line cook experience in pizzeria (Preferred) - Training provided Ability to read and follow recipes and identify measurements
COMPENSATION
The hourly rate for this role ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 depending on experience.
