One of us runs a small company and another has chronic illness and manages the chaos of homeschooling 2 young boys. We are fun, supportive and nimble. The personal assistant position mostly has to do with food prep and household duties . More on that below. The job in Wheat Ridge runs from early May through October (~6 months). We are seasonal and migrate Florida from November through early to mid May each year for health reasons. Preferably, the position will resume every year upon our return and there may be opportunities to stack hours while we are away.

Relaxed atmosphere Casual work attire provided On-the-job training Flexible working hours with early mornings Lively atmosphere Safe work environment More details: we are looking for a household (mostly kitchen and food) manager that can absorb several household responsibilities that will allow our family to function. Optimal hours are 5-6AM - 1-2PM(ish), Saturday and Sunday. The position can also be broken up with some hours completed during the week, 4hrs on both Sat/Sun are needed though. Extra hours are possible and time frames may be flexible. We are 100% plant-based and whole foods house, so we make everything from scratch. Primary duties will include lots of food prep such as washing vegetables, making juices, making sauces in the vitamix and food processor, tidying the kitchen, unloading/reloading the dishwasher, essentially helping our home run like a well-oiled machine. Other responsibilities might include picking up/house cleaning, grocery shopping, other tasks related to keeping the house organized. It's important to us that who we hire feels like an extension of our family so this job might be perfect if you're looking that as well as a healthier lifestyle and like-minded people to be around. Our homeschooled 10 and 3-year-old boys are certainly a job perk! We are a chemically sensitive and fragrance free home (due to migraines). This means whoever we hire needs to be completely fragrance free as well. Essential oils are typically okay, but cannot by used before your shift. We have work attire for each person who's employed in our household to minimize any fragrance exposure. We've found it's very important for whoever we hire to already be using fragrance free products. Our most recent personal assistant started at $21/hour and a year later was at $25/hour. We would likely start on the low end and as you gain proficiency, would elevate your hourly rate quickly. You will be on a W2 payroll, paid twice a month with taxes withheld. No health benefits but retirement benefits are available for long-term employees.
