Available Positions Chef / Sous Chef Lead kitchen execution, maintain quality standards, guide staff, support inventory and production Line /Prep Cook Daily prep, portioning, recipe accuracy, organization, ingredient care Cleaning, dishwashing, equipment care, closing duties, basic prep support What It Means to Contribute to Hachiroku Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher Respect for Japanese culinary discipline and attention to detail Commitment to consistency—every dish, every day Pride in cleanliness, organization, and proper kitchen flow Supporting teammates and maintaining a positive, professional environment Willingness to learn, improve, and uphold Hachiroku's standards Understanding that great food comes from great systems, not shortcuts Responsibilities (depending on position) Execute dishes with accuracy and speed Follow exact recipes, weights, and procedures Maintain a clean and safe kitchen at all times Perform cleaning duties: dishes, equipment, floors, trash, etc. Proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO) Communicate clearly during service and prep Support the team during busy hours Requirements Experience required for Chef / Line Cook roles No experience needed for Prep / Assistant roles (training provided) Strong work ethic and reliability Weekend availability preferred Team-first mindset Schedule & Pay Full-time or part-time Competitive hourly pay or salary based on experience Opportunities for growth within the Hachiroku team We're looking for people who want to build something together — not just work a shift.
