The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in the food industry, particularly in restaurant settings. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development with the Head Chef. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and sanitized. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional food service. Skills Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of menu planning and catering services is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Proficient knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment. Excellent teamwork abilities with strong communication skills. Understanding of dietary requirements and food service best practices.
