Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled BOH staff member to join our culinary team as we continue to expand our culinary operations on our on premise food truck! Candidates will be apart of a growing culinary food operation under Half Full Brewery, INC. This is a rare opportunity to be apart of a culinary concept designed around great food, great beer, and real community. As a member of our Culinary Operations team, you will be the engine under the hood. You aren t just flipping burgers; you are managing a high-efficiency kitchen execution strategy.
ResponsibilitiesPrep, cook, and plate our signature menu items with speed, precision, and consistency during high-volume peak hours.
Maintain an ultra-organized, clean, and safe workspace within our custom food trailer. Efficiency is absolutely key.
Work seamlessly with front-of-house staff and bartenders to ensure food flows out to the pub flawlessly.
Ensure every dish leaving the window meets our high standards for presentation and flavor.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, following all state and local health regulations.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff and Culinary Operations Manager to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by tracking food supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances.
Work alongside our Culinary Operations Manager / Head Chef to execute plating, preparation, and presentation for our guests.
RequirementsProven experience as a cook in a restaurant, food truck, or catering environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations preferred.
Knife skills and familiarity with various cooking technique and equipment preferred.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
ServSafe Food Handler certification required; holding certification is a plus, we will provide if not currently certified.
