Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Helper! In this vital role, you will support the daily operations of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where delicious meals are prepared efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Manage dishwashing and kitchen cleanliness. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various dishes Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers, ensuring proper techniques are followed Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy periods Support catering events or special functions by preparing ingredients and assisting with setup and cleanup Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly and maintained in good working order Qualifications Dishwashing. Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food service operations is advantageous Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices Experience working in restaurants or the food industry demonstrates valuable kitchen skills Basic knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are beneficial Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward learning new culinary techniques Embark on a rewarding journey in the culinary world by supporting our kitchen team!
