This is a fast-paced position that requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. The expo is an important link between the kitchen and FOH team and is responsible for making sure food leaves the kitchen accurately, efficiently, and with the right presentation.
What we re looking for:
Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience; expo experience strongly preferred Knowledge of Asian cuisine is preferred, but not required Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant Strong knowledge of food, ingredients, and common allergens Ability to read tickets, organize multiple orders, and prioritize timing Clear communication with both BOH and FOH Strong attention to detail and consistency Reliable, punctual, and able to stay calm during busy service Evening and weekend availability required Responsibilities include: Organizing and coordinating tickets during service Checking every dish for accuracy and presentation before it leaves the kitchen Ensuring complete tables are run together whenever possible Communicating modifications, allergies, missing items, and timing issues Coordinating food runners and communicating with servers and kitchen staff Maintaining a clean and organized expo station Competitive pay based on experience. $17.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
