Duties Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, cookies, and other confections following established recipes and standards Support cake decorating and pastry presentation to ensure visually appealing desserts Package finished products efficiently for delivery or retail display, ensuring proper food handling and labeling Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and pastry tools safely and effectively Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices, including sanitation and organization of ingredients and tools Contribute to food production processes by measuring ingredients accurately using basic math skills Support the team in catering events or high-volume production needs with timely and quality service Requirements Previous experience in pastry preparation or baking is highly preferred; familiarity with baked goods, cake decorating, and food industry standards is a plus Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques to ensure safety and quality Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining a clean workspace Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to recipe guidelines Experience with packaging, food production, and catering environments preferred Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with team members or clients Basic math skills for ingredient measurement and portion control Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-volume production settings while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Pastry Assistant and bring your culinary passion to life!
