Responsibilities Prepare and produce a variety of ice cream flavors, sorbets, and frozen desserts using established recipes and innovative techniques Operate commercial freezers, mixers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Decorate and present ice cream creations with appealing cake decorating techniques when applicable Package finished products carefully for retail display or customer orders, maintaining quality standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients Support the team during catering events or special promotions by preparing large quantities of ice cream and related desserts Qualifications Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts, with a focus on dessert preparation preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling safety practices Knowledge of cake decorating, packaging techniques, and culinary presentation is a plus Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills to engage with guests when needed Familiarity with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices Embark on a sweet journey where your culinary talents create joy!
