Morning Prep:

We are also hiring for an Opener position responsible for setting the store up for a successful lunch rush. This is a key role for someone who takes pride in preparation and consistency.

Opener duties include:

Arrive early to open the store and complete all morning setup tasks Bake and prep fresh bread for the day, ensuring it meets Jimmy John's quality standards before lunch service begins Slice and prep all fresh vegetables — including tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, onions, and peppers — in the required quantities for the day Portion and prepare additional ingredients such as tuna salad and any other daily prep items Ensure all prep stations and coolers are stocked, organized, and ready before the lunch rush Follow all food safety, temperature, and cleanliness standards during prep Complete opening checklist and communicate any supply needs to management What's in it for you: Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment Learn valuable skills in food preparation and customer service Flexible scheduling options, including weekend availability and various shift types Opportunity to earn tips in addition to your base pay
