Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep Understand food safety and quality excellence Stock kitchen inventory as needed Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic, and tidy, at all times Uphold all Pathway procedures and restaurant policies Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A Show up on time and work hard your entire shift Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership Stay up to date with yearly trainings and certifications Invest in Chick-fil-A culture with willingness to grow and a positive attitude Always adhere to all company policies and procedures Be involved and contribute in daily operations Carry out instructions given by the management team and operator Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned Uphold Operators vision & mission for the store in daily operations
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have a source of reliable transportation Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment Mobility required during shifts Must work well under pressure Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently Consistent and reliable Cheerful and positive attitude Loves serving and helping others Customer service oriented Strong interpersonal skills Detail-oriented Able to multi-task Works well independently and in a team environment Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule Have the ability to lift and carry 5-20 lbs on a regular basis Have the ability to stand for long periods of time Most Chick-fil-A® Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.
