The Kitchen Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and food safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is a team player who can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and deliver high-quality food consistently. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during service periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
  • Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Monitor food quality and report any issues to management.
  • Properly store and label food products.
  • Assist with receiving and organizing inventory deliveries.
  • Minimize food waste and practice portion control.
  • Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members. Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Skills
