Immediately Job Description Highland Community School District Food Service Cook Openings Highland Community School District is currently accepting applications for two Food Service/Cafeteria Staff positions.
Position Title:
Food Service/Cafeteria Staff
Supervisor:
Nutrition Director and Building Administrator
Job Goal:
Prepare and serve meals in a safe, clean, and efficient environment. Primary Responsibilities Follow all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, safety standards, board policies, and administrative procedures. Assist the kitchen manager with food preparation and meal service. Prepare food items according to recipes and directions. Measure and mix ingredients as part of the food preparation process. Assist with preparing and serving breakfast and lunch menu items. Wash utensils, pans, sheet pans, and other kitchen equipment. Operate the dishwasher as assigned. Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient food preparation and serving area. Follow HACCP principles, food-safety requirements, and established standard operating procedures. Dress appropriately for the position and assigned duties. Complete all assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner. Perform additional duties as needed. The responsibilities listed above are typical of this position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the district.
