This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop valuable skills in the food industry while working in a fun and energetic setting. Responsibilities Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety and quality standards, including handling ingredients and maintaining sanitation. Operate POS systems to process orders accurately and swiftly. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy during cashiering duties, including food sales and transactions. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards and proper food storage practices. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are most important! Familiarity with quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales upselling, and proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros are highly beneficial. Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail environments can help you excel in this role. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen procedures will support your success. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours are essential.
