Duties Assist in food preparation by following recipes and adhering to food safety standards to ensure consistent quality. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools safely and efficiently. Prepare ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques to support meal assembly and presentation. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment regularly to meet hygiene standards. Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting with special catering or event setups. Serve food promptly and courteously to customers or staff, ensuring a positive dining experience. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production, manage timing, and ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or dietary departments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in production environments. Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and operating kitchen equipment. Strong knife skills, slicing techniques, and familiarity with recipe adherence are preferred. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
