Job Summary Little Green Tree House Evanston is looking for a fun, nurturing and creative individual to join our team!
Full Time:
Monday - Friday 9am-6pm Job duties include, but not limited to: Logging in the caterer food deliveries, food and refrigerator temperature logging Cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen prep area, cleaning of dishes Preparing all of the snacks and meals to be presented to the children. Delivery of all snacks and meals on a timely fashion to the classrooms Light janitorial duties such as cleaning of the play room, restocking toiletries, etc. Recognizes and considers the individual needs of each child. Attends all staff training sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by the Center, as required. Helps with meal and snack preparation, feeding children, modeling table manners at family style meals. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding children and families.

Assistant Director, Director and Executive Director Mental and Physical Requirements:
Frequently moves or lifts average weight as in lifting and carrying Occasionally lifts or moves average weight of up to 60 pounds in awkward or difficult positions (such as to prevent an accidental injury to a child). Rarely lifts weights heavier than 60 pounds, normally only in emergency situations. Some children, equipment or supplies may weigh more than 60 pounds. Physically and mentally reacts appropriately and immediately to unexpected circumstances. Required to stand up to 95% of the workday. Uses proper lifting procedures and seeks appropriate assistance with heavy lifting when possible.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
Meet state licensing requirements for education, experience and age. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrate an understanding of all current state and local regulations. Must maintain a Food Service Manager Certification, will be required to renew if expiring
