Kitchen Staff Fusion Social Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for meal preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting in various kitchen tasks to deliver high-quality dishes to our customers. Duties Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the kitchen lead or chef. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety regulations are followed. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools. Support catering events by preparing dishes as needed and ensuring timely delivery of meals. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods. Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding any items that do not meet safety standards. Experience Previous experience in food service or a culinary environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is a plus. Experience in meal preparation or catering services is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen.
