SHORT ORDER COOK

WHEATON, IL

Dolly's, an independently owned natural wine and cocktail lounge in downtown Wheaton, is looking for a dependable Short Order Cook to join our small kitchen team. We offer a consistent four-day workweek with Monday-Wednesday off. We're looking for someone who enjoys cooking, takes pride in their work, and can confidently handle a station during service. Our kitchen focuses on elevated small plates in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking menu items to order Working fryer, grill and sauté stations Daily food prep and portioning Plating dishes consistently and with care Keeping stations stocked, clean and organized Following food safety and sanitation standards Assisting with kitchen opening and closing duties Working with our front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly What we're looking for: Previous line cook or short order experience preferred Dependable and punctual Comfortable working independently Organized and efficient during busy service Takes pride in food quality and presentation Positive attitude and works well with a small team

Consistent Weekly Schedule:

Thursday & Friday:

4 PM-11

PM Saturday:

1 PM-11

PM Sunday:

1 PM-10

PM Monday-Wednesday OFF Starting Pay:
