Job DescriptionDeep cleans/ washes walls, ceilings, base boards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards as well as flatware, pots and pans; sweeps/mops floors, breaks down and cleans equipment, sorts, stores and transports all dishes, flatware, pots/pans as well as transports garbage. Clean and polish silver, flatware and brass in all areas as needed. Transport of related food product, supplies and ware washing items to and from respected areas.
Creates and ensures a fresh, positive, and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramountMust have strict compliance to the Blue Chip Employee Handbook and Policy and Procedure ManualResponsible for establishing and maintaining the highest sanitation and guest service standardsClean, maintain and organize work assignmentsFollow all Health Codes (State, Federal, and OSHA requirements) and company guidelines at assigned work stationCommunicate with supervisors, both verbally and in writingAssist in training new employeesWork steadily and accurately, paying attention to detailIn accordance with the Health Department codes and Departmental Policies, must consistently be in complianceMaintain a positive work environmentAssist in other areas when directed or assignedDeep clean stoves and kitchen equipment according to proceduresBreakdown, feed, catch, and properly sort all dishes and flatware as it is brought to the dish areaWash, sort, and store pots and pans in their designated location on proper tracksWash walls, ceilings, baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boardsSweep and mop all floorsTransport garbage from all kitchen areas (kitchen storerooms, walk-ins, and other designated assigned areas)Clean and polish silver, flatware and brass in all areas as neededDeep cleaning and strictly following cleaning proceduresFollows and adheres to all company and departmental safety guidelinesUse of personal protective equipment is mandatory in this positionTransport of related food product, supplies and ware washing items to and from respected areasLearn and perform proper stocking, storage and rotation techniquesWork efficiently and accurately in safe operating modeIdentify and inform supervisor regarding any problems with assigned stationMaintain food product pars and restocking stations according to business demandsAbility to communicate with intra departments on their requirementsContinuously cleaning and organizing work stationAbility to follow instructions from supervisors and other talentPerforms all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor/manager.
