Stocker / Inventory Ctrl

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Receiving Stocker / Inventory Control Clerk and become a vital part of our team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving, organizing stock, pulling daily requestions for meal prep and ensuring seamless warehouse location maintenance. If you comfortable working in a correctional center environment with non-violent inmates•we would like to meet you. Duties Receive and unload trucks with assistance of inmates Conduct accurate order pulls for meal prep daily Organize stock within the inventory locations in each kitchen, maintain inventory levels precisely, perform weekly inventory counts and identify discrepancies Maintain clean, organized work areas while adhering to safety protocols related to food service operations Assist in issuance of supplies and tools to inmates as needed Assist and supervise Scullery area when needed Assist on serving line when needed Clean and maintain food carts, beverage containers and racks Assist in daily, monthly heavy duty kitchen cleaning of equipment and designated kitchen areas Preform heavy lifting of 50 pounds moving and carrying Experience Kitchen safety sanitation requirements and methods of food handling a plus•Serv Safe Food Handler certification (employer will provide) Prior experience in receiving, inventory control and ordering. Experience in a food warehouse setting•all of these are a plus Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely, must be able to lift 50 pounds Background and drug testing required Work effectively with others while maintaining standards of Mid State Services and Calcasieu Correctional rules and guidelines

Pay:

$14.00•$26.00 per hour
