Nutrition Staff Substitute Positions We are seeking reliable and flexible Substitute Nutrition Staff to support our school kitchen teams on an as-needed basis. This role is a great opportunity to assist in providing healthy, nutritious meals to students while working in a supportive school environment. Responsibilities Assist with preparation and assembly of menu items such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, pizzas, grab-and-go meals, and other entrees as needed Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and directions from kitchen managers Serve meals to students while maintaining proper food safety and portion control standards Wash and sanitize dishes, equipment, and work areas in accordance with HACCP guidelines Help receive, stock, and organize food and supplies Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment Qualifications Ability to work in a fast paced team environment Willingness to follow directions and learn kitchen procedures Commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards Ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand instructions, recipes, and safety procedures Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Schedule As-needed / on-call substitute work during school hours Monday-Friday (no nights or weekends) Join Our Team Make a difference in your schools by helping provide nutritious meals to students when coverage is needed.
