Main focus of role:
To embody the Caffe Nero culture working with your team in Store and to provide the best standards of food and customer service to all our customers. Works to maintain the cleanliness of our facilities and protect the brand. Positively conveys brand and culture messages and represents the values of Caffè Nero as a Cultural Ambassador.
Kitchen Team Member Responsibilities:
Arrive for your shift on time and in proper uniform (black t-shirt, blue jeans, black apron) Open kitchen area and equipment for food production Complete morning pastry bake-off, prepare sandwiches, salads, and remote cooler items according to daily production chart Receive and put away all orders Maintain neat, clean, organized coffeehouse and kitchen area Re-stock items in the kitchen and other service areas Ensure all products are stocked and properly merchandised Always follow guidelines for food safety and sanitation Breakdown, clean, and reset kitchen area once food production is completed Complete on-hand amounts for MOD to assist with orders Follow daily, weekly, monthly cleaning tasks Provide food/coffee bar support as needed (baking pastries, serving customers, washing dishes, etc.) Participate in monthly team meeting & deep cleans Have fun & enjoy yourself
Kitchen Team Member Skills:
Communication Teamwork Quality food preparation Sanitation and cleanliness Organization Flexibility Multi-tasking Conversational English (required)
Essential Physical Requirements:
Ability to move or handle merchandise that gets delivered or needs to be moved throughout the store generally weighing 0-70 pounds
