Experienced Kitchen Expo

Bates Bar and Grill is looking to hire experienced Food Expeditors. The right candidate will be a hard worker, self motivator, show up on time and work well as a team. The Kitchen Expo plays a major role in keeping smooth communication between the kitchen and front of house staff. This job requires attention to detail as you will be packaging and verifying take out orders on busy nights. This position is responsible for organizing and expediting food orders for guests dining in the restaurant as well as take out orders, ensuring all plates are presented correctly and making sure plates are delivered to guests promptly.

Expediting:

Main point of communication between kitchen and front of house team during service Organize tickets and ensure all dishes are prepared accordingly Ensure all dishes are sent out in the correct order Communicate any special modifications or requestes from the front of house team to the kitchen

Other Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo station Ensure expo line is stocked and ready for service Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
