This is a role for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in following through on commitments . Role Overview Front-of-house customer service Weekly farmers market sales Kitchen prep and baking support Learning and confidently communicating menu items, including allergen information Schedule & Commitment Full-time (32-36 hours per week, ~35 average) Occasional additional hours required during busy periods Closed Sundays & Mondays (two consistent days off) Closed on major holidays Farmers markets: Fridays + alternating Saturdays ( required shifts ) Schedule Commitment (Please Read Carefully) This role involves advance commitments to farmers markets and production schedules. Farmers market shifts are a core responsibility and must be covered These dates are scheduled in advance and are not flexible once agreed upon Time off is requested and approved in advance , not assumed This position is best suited for someone who plans ahead and honors commitments Compensation & Growth Starting base pay: $15/hour Performance-based raise after 90 days (typically +$1/hour) Weekly bonus pool funded by a customer service/admin fee Historically averages an additional $5-$7/hour Can reach $7-$9/hour during peak holiday periods Additional direct cash tips from customers (kept by the employee) Higher earning potential during farmers market season End-of-year bonus based on performance Ongoing raises based on performance, reliability, and contribution Total earnings vary by week and season, with higher income potential during farmers market and holiday periods. Benefits 1 week paid time off after 1 year, with additional PTO earned based on performance and tenure $200/month health insurance stipend for employees with qualifying private insurance, after a 90 day introductory period.
