Terrain Cafe is expanding, opening our fourth location in Wayland, MA this August! We are looking for talented pastry cook to join our opening team. We are currently hiring for an August 10th start date. Terrain Café is a chef-driven restaurant that celebrates the art of gathering through thoughtful menus and warm, welcoming spaces rooted in craftsmanship. Our work is defined by a commitment to the craft, focusing on the marriage of high-caliber products and exacting execution. We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook who believes that great food is crafted with purpose by a team that takes pride in every component. This role is designed for culinary professionals who thrive on technical discipline, precision, and speed within a high-performance environment.

Role Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume professional kitchen.

Communication:

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with managers and co-workers.

Safety & Standards:

Strong knowledge of kitchen safety, cleanliness, and industry best practices.

Physical Stamina:

Must be able to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Reliability:

Organized, reliable, and professional under pressure with dependable attendance.

Flexibility:

Flexible availability is preferred, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays
