Kitchen Staff/BBQ Help - Good Food Store and Catering Co. - (Bethel) Busy catering, sandwich shop, prepared and specialty food store seeks experienced staff and to join the kitchen and BBQ team. Applicant should possess solid culinary and food safety skills, be willing to learn and prepare everything from sandwiches to heat and eat meals, to fine foods to baked goods. Ability to read and execute a recipe, be a flexible team player, good communicator and comfortable working in a fast paced environment required. Passion for food helpful. Must be available weekends. • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes
• Collaborate with team members to provide efficient service and meal preparation
• Communicate effectively with staff, both front and back of house Qualifications
• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cooking in a fast - paced environment
