Job Description
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring for our SUMMER season, June 5-October 11th. Our hours are Thursday 4-8, Friday and Saturday 12-8, and Sunday 12-6. We are seeking kitchen help for these hours in our a fast paced open concept casual dining restaurant. Job includes rolling fatties (burritos) and packing bowls to order, basic food safety skills, food prep, organization, and cleaning in an open kitchen. The restaurant is a non-smoking property.Responsibilities:
- Following recipes for food prep.
- Washing dishes.
- Reading order tickets and prepping food to order in a fast paced open kitchen.
- Food safety.
- Organizing.
- Cleaning before, during, and after service.
- Interacting with servers, dishwashers, bartenders, and customers from the open kitchen as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of basic food prep skills like following a recipe and handling a knife.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to focus in a fast-paced sometimes loud environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
