This position is ideal for someone who wants to learn every aspect of a high-volume scratch kitchen while working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Team members will cross-train in multiple stations and learn the full pizza-making process from prep to finished product. Position Responsibilities As part of our BOH team, you will be trained and cross-trained in: Pizza Production Dough preparation and handling Hand stretching pizza dough Topping pizzas to recipe specifications Firing pizzas and oven operation Running the pizza pass / expo station Working the slice line Kitchen Production Food prep and ingredient preparation Making fresh salads Preparing appetizers and desserts Portioning and stocking products Supporting all stations as needed Dish & Utility Dishwashing and putting away clean dishes Taking out trash and maintaining cleanliness standards Receiving and putting away truck orders Organization and stocking of coolers and storage areas Food Safety & Cleanliness Food safety and cleanliness are non-negotiable at The Stubborn Brother.

Responsibilities include:

Following all food safety procedures and standards Completing food safety walks and temperature checks Maintaining a clean workstation throughout the shift Proper labeling, dating, rotation, and storage of products Participating in daily and closing cleaning tasks Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly Comfortable working in hot kitchen environments and cold storage areas Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak volume periods What We're Looking For Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong work ethic and reliability Team-first mentality Ability to stay organized under pressure Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate About Us The Stubborn Brother Pizza Bar is a family-owned scratch kitchen specializing in New York-style pizza, fresh ingredients, house-made recipes, and a strong culture centered around quality and hospitality.
