In this lively role, you'll be the expert in crafting soft pretzels from scratch, ensuring each one meets our high standards for quality, flavor, and presentation. Your enthusiasm for baking and food preparation will help create a warm, inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy a tasty treat. Responsibilities Prepare and bake soft pretzels according to established recipes and food safety standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters efficiently and safely Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols and organizing ingredients and tools Assist with other food production tasks and waiting on customers as needed Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Support high-volume production during busy periods while maintaining consistency in product quality Skills Experience in food production with a focus on baked goods like pretzels or similar items Strong skills and proficiency in handling kitchen equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards Ability to perform basic math for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with team members and customers Experience in food handling within the food industry or restaurant environment preferred High-volume production experience to efficiently manage large batches during peak times Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for multiple hours at a time.
