Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Crew Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry, develop culinary skills, and work in a vibrant café or quick-service restaurant setting. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food orders efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment including bussing tables and sanitation duties Manage food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures throughout shifts Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring food quality standards are met Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods Skills Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurants is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with upselling menu items to enhance sales performance Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not required Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a retail or restaurant setting This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry who enjoy working in a lively environment while providing outstanding service. Prior experience in retail math, serving, bussing, or grocery stores can be advantageous. We welcome motivated candidates eager to grow their skills within our team.
