TAKE OUT COUNTER STAFF

Duties Greet customers warmly and take their take-out orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Must be 16+ years of age to apply Prepare and package food items following safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality and freshness. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and POS operations, while providing excellent customer service. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and food handling to meet health regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area as needed, supporting overall restaurant operations. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or serving in quick service or fast food restaurants. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
