This person must understand the workings of a professional kitchen, obtained by working in a food service kitchen or catering business. These skills will be leveraged for maintaining the kitchen facilities, ordering and organizing groceries, and equipment upkeep. Maintain Cleanliness of Culinary Center Washing and putting dishes away in all kitchens Washing, drying, and folding laundry as needed Cleaning countertops, tables, and equipment as needed Maintain Organization of Culinary Center Stock kitchen staples Organize and maintain all storage areas Groceries Order groceries through Instacart as requested Check-in, distribute, and notify requestor of grocery arrival Check-in, distribute, and notify requestor of Sysco product arrival Other Familiar with basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office Other duties as assigned

Background:

Preferred minimum of 2 years working either in a food service kitchen or in catering business. Position is a flexible on-call position, no guaranteed hours, work is based on business needs.
