Food and Beverage Director Job Summary:
The Kitchen Utility Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including dishwashing, basic food preparation support, and assisting kitchen staff with various tasks. This role is essential for the smooth and safe operation of the kitchen and dining area. Key Responsibilities Dishwashing & Sanitation Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and follow hygiene and safety standards. Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning. Kitchen Support Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies. Take out trash, clean floors, and ensure kitchen and storage areas remain clean and organized. Help kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks (e.g., peeling vegetables, portioning items). Maintenance & Safety Monitor dish machine temperatures and cleaning chemicals to ensure proper sanitation. Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
Working Conditions:
