About the Role We are seeking a Pastry Cook who understands that great kitchens are built on preparation, consistency, and attention to detail. This role is responsible for preparing ingredients and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient service. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and takes pride in doing things the right way every time. What You'll Do

• Recipe Development:

  Inventing and testing new dessert concepts, balancing complex flavors, textures, and temperatures.

• Baking & Prepwork :

  Scaling ingredients exactly, mixing batters, rolling doughs, and preparing components like mousses, custards, and glazes.

• Plating & Presentation:

  Designing the visual layout of plated desserts for restaurant service.

• Technical Knowledge:

  Strong understanding of baking chemistry
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and prep lists
• Execute daily prep tasks accurately and efficiently
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation
• Follow all food safety, handling, and sanitation standards
• Assist in stocking and organizing kitchen stations
• Monitor product quality and report any issues immediately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and kitchen areas
• Support line cooks and kitchen team as needed
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties What We're Looking For
• Prior kitchen and pastry experience required
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions consistently
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn Requirements
• Availability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Food handler certification (or ability to obtain)
