Full Time About Us Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and strengthening communities by providing services and support to individuals and families throughout the Ozarks. Position Overview OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Nutrition Assistant. This role supports daily food service operations by preparing and serving meals, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting with kitchen organization and meal service for children and staff. Work Schedule Full-Time, 40 hours per week Part-Year Position Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus Monitor meal preparation and food service processes Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen areas Follow food safety and sanitation standards Assist with administrative tasks related to meal preparation and service Collaborate with center staff to support daily operations Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Quantity cooking experience Required Skills and Abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment Ability to safely prepare and handle food Ability to work collaboratively with staff Ability to follow food safety procedures and guidelines Compensation Starting pay: $17.03 per hourBenefits Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Medical and Dental Insurance Paid Training Opportunities Family-Friendly Work Environment Positive Team Culture Additional Information Application Deadline:
