Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Food Preparer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and production, a strong commitment to food safety, and a keen eye for quality. As a Food Preparer, you will support our kitchen operations by ensuring that all ingredients and dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Assist in daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food production and service. Prepare ingredients and dishes according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations. Monitor food inventory and assist with restocking and minimizing waste. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during service. Support menu preparation by prepping ingredients and ensuring quality consistency. Assist with catering and special event preparations as needed. Experience & Qualifications Proven experience as a Food Preparer , Line Cook , or similar role in a restaurant or catering environment. Experience in a Mexican-style restaurant preferred. Knowledge of food safety, proper handling, and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Experience with catering or large-scale food production. Basic understanding of kitchen inventory and organization.
