We make exploring a variety of wines more accessible than it has ever been before. Beyond just a bar, we are building Sail Away into a getaway. Pizza Crew Part time / $15/hr, plus tip share We are looking for skilled Pizza Crew to prepare high-quality pizzas and other menu items including appetizers, salads and charcuterie, according to customers' orders. Pizza Crew responsibilities include preparing, cutting, grating, or slicing various ingredients to be used as pizza toppings, using a meat slicer for meats and cheeses for charcuterie orders and removing pizza debris from the pizza ovens. You should also be able to maintain a clean workstation at all times. To be successful as a member of the Pizza Crew, you should ensure that kitchen safety protocol is properly followed. Ultimately, a top-notch Pizza Crew member should be able to train and mentor kitchen staff. Responsibilities Preparing various toppings, such as peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats. Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times Preparing high-quality pizzas according to company recipes Preparing meat and cheese plate orders according to specific presentation based on customer requests Cleaning workstations before pizza preparation Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers' orders are completed in a timely manner Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware Preparing the kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking cook stations Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as meat slicer, pots, and pans, mixers, etc Unloading and storing deliveries Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures Requirements Must have Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday afternoon/night availability Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma/GED Must have or be able to obtain a Clay County Food Handler Card Reliable transportation Customer-focused attitude Proven food preparation and food handling experience Good time management skills Working knowledge of proper food handling procedures The ability to follow standardized recipes The ability to work in a fast-paced environment The ability to work in a team and alone Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
