Job Description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Job Summary Sts Joachim and Ann Catholic Church is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness and organization, and help ensure meals are served safely and efficiently. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen team and contributing to a welcoming and positive dining experience for our parish community and guests.

Job Responsibilities Assist with basic food preparation and meal assembly Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, and dishes Store, label, and rotate food properly (FIFO) Receive and organize deliveries Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Support the kitchen team during meal service Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements High school diploma preferred Kitchen or food service experience is a plus Basic knowledge of food safety practices Ability to work in a team and follow directions Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Dependable and able to perform physical tasks The Archdiocese of St. Louis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
