Duties Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure consistent quality. Support cooking activities by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces. Help with food handling procedures to meet safety standards and prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with team members during meal service, including serving dishes and supporting banquet or event setups. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper storage of ingredients. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and maintaining a friendly attitude. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and food handling safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions. Experience with banquet service or hotel food operations is a plus. Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and customer service. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
