Job Description:

We are looking for dedicated and reliable Kitchen Staff to join our team. As a member of the kitchen team at Meg-a-latte, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of menu items, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food items according to Meg-a-latte's recipes and standards. Ensure food quality and presentation meet company expectations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries. Follow all health and safety guidelines and food handling procedures. Work collaboratively with the rest of the kitchen team and Barista staff. Opportunity to cross train as Barista. Handle customer inquiries and special requests in a polite and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
