Position:
School Nutrition Associate —
Part-Time Schedule:
20 hours per week
Daily Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Join our school nutrition team and make a difference in the lives of students every day! We are looking for a dependable, positive team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our students. Responsibilities Assist with preparing lunch items Serve meals to students in a friendly and efficient manner Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup Help with stocking, receiving deliveries, and maintaining inventory Work collaboratively with the nutrition team to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications No prior kitchen experience required Willingness to learn and follow food safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Positive attitude and a passion for serving children Benefits Family-friendly daytime schedule Evenings, weekends, holidays, and summers off Supportive and welcoming work environment On-the-job training Opportunity to positively impact students every day Current Bergan parents may be eligible to complete this position as work-study hours that can be applied toward their school tuition If you enjoy working with children and being part of a team that fuels student success, we would love to hear from you!
