Role:
The Utility Team Member supports kitchen and service operations by ensuring all dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation tasks are completed to the highest standard. This behind-the-scenes role is essential for keeping workstations, prep areas, and equipment clean, safe, and functional. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
What you will do:
Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans according to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, work surfaces, and equipment. Remove trash and recyclables regularly, following airport and company waste disposal guidelines. Refill cleaning supplies and monitor dish area for proper stock of detergents and tools. Ensure compliance with all health and sanitation standards. Support other kitchen staff during busy periods, including basic prep or cleaning tasks as needed. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to leadership immediately.
What you will bring:
Previous experience in a dish or utility role is preferred but not required. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be able to pass an airport background check and qualify for badging. Experience in a commercial kitchen or food service setting. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
